Job summary

Northern Health - BC is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our Laboratory department. This role performs technical work involved in laboratory test procedures and contributes to the evaluation and reporting of results under the supervision of the Manager or designate.

Relevant fields include Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine (Science). This position requires rotating on-call coverage through evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Medical Laboratory Technologist performs technical work involved in laboratory test procedures.
• Evaluates and verifies results and prepares related reports.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory test procedures across clinical chemistry, hematology, and transfusion medicine.
