Baxter in Mississauga, ON is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to serve as a key technical resource for customers, field service representatives, and internal stakeholders. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, manage service-related transactions, and ensure timely resolution of inquiries in compliance with quality standards.

This 18-month maternity leave coverage role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, preferably within medical devices or related equipment.
• Experience working in a technical support, help desk, service operations, or call center environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical service manuals, technical bulletins, blueprints, and electrical schematic diagrams.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support to customers, field service representatives, and internal stakeholders through phone and email.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on medical equipment using technical service manuals, bulletins, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.
• Analyze equipment issues and determine corrective actions to support service operations and complaint investigations.
• Create, document, update, and manage customer interactions and service requests within Baxter's contact management systems.
• Process and manage service parts orders, including order creation, fulfillment tracking, delivery confirmation, and sales order inquiries.
• Coordinate engineering part returns and failure analysis requests through Baxter's order management systems.
• Follow through on issue resolution and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Travel occasionally within Canada and the U.S. for training and job-shadowing opportunities.
