Interior Health Authority is seeking a Relief Part Time Medical Device Reprocessing Technician | Perioperative Aide at Vernon Jubilee Hospital in Vernon, BC. This relief position offers rotating workdays including days, evenings, and nights.

You will perform technical duties, restock supplies, and support surgical teams. The position includes employer-paid training, insurance premiums, and a work-life balance.

We are seeking a Relief Part Time Medical Device Reprocessing Technician | Perioperative Aide at Vernon Jubilee Hospital in Vernon, BC.

Days of work: Rotating, Days, Evenings, Nights

Shift times: 08:00 to 16:25, 08:30 to 16:55, 15:00 to 23:25, 23:10 to 07:10

This is a relief position until November 23, 2026 or the return of incumbent.

What will you work on?

• You will perform a series of detailed technical duties related to preparation of the Operating Room (OR) theaters and the position and preparation of the surgical patients and related supplies/equipment.
• You will restock supplies in the theaters and storage areas and transport patients, specimens, equipment and supplies within the perioperative areas.
• You will support the surgical team regarding patient observations and interactions, and in the use, care and location of perioperative equipment and supplies.
