Job summary

Northern Health's University Hospital of Northern BC is seeking a hardworking candidate for a casual position. The role involves decontamination, sterilization, reassembly and function testing of medical and surgical supplies and instruments, and related handling across hospital areas.

Under general supervision, you will assist with distribution and related clerical duties and record keeping to support safe patient care and efficient operations within the department.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, sterilization, reassembly and testing of medical supplies and instruments

Job description

We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated candidate to fill a Casual position at the the University Hospital of Northern BC.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position performs a series of detailed technical duties related to the decontamination, sterilization, reassembly, function testing and distribution of medical and/or surgical supplies and instruments for various areas of the hospital; and performs related clerical duties and record keeping.
