Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a Casual Medical Device Reprocessing Technician for the Medical Device Reprocessing - MHC unit. In this in-person role, you will process and sterilize instruments, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support clinics across the Health Centre and Surgical Complex.
The position requires Grade 12, MDR certification, EO certification, CPR, and up to 7.75 hours daily during day shifts. Experience of six months in MDR is an asset.

Processing and sterilizing medical and surgical instrumentation and various related supplies and equipment required by Resident Care Units and the various Clinics throughout the Health Centre as well the Surgical Complex and some external health care clinics.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT. The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Golden Door Geriatric Centre, Golden West Centennial Lodge, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services.
