Job summary

Adecco is hiring a Production Associate in Ottawa, ON for a leading medical device manufacturer. The role runs on 6:30 AM–6:30 PM or 6:30 PM–6:30 AM, and the position is temporary with potential to convert to full-time.

Pay rate is CAD 21.24–24.17 per hour, with weekly pay and strong safety programs. Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics, or regulated manufacturing environments is an asset.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to work day or night shifts, including weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Crucial computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and handle materials following established procedures.
• Follow production schedules to meet targets.
• Produce high-quality, accurate output with attention to detail.
• Support productivity goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain GMP and quality standards and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors; assist with troubleshooting.
• Perform additional production-related duties as required.
