Adecco is hiring a Production Associate in Ottawa, ON for a leading medical device manufacturer. The role runs on 6:30 AM–6:30 PM or 6:30 PM–6:30 AM, and the position is temporary with potential to convert to full-time.

Pay rate is CAD 21.24–24.17 per hour, with weekly pay and strong safety programs. Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics, or regulated manufacturing environments is an asset.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to work day or night shifts, including weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Crucial computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Pay Rate: $21.24 - $24.17/hour

Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM and 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Production & Manufacturing

• Operate equipment and handle materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Follow manufacturing processes and production schedules to meet operational targets.
• Produce high-quality, error-free work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support productivity goals and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Quality & Compliance

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards.
• Perform visual inspections and identify product or process issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

Teamwork & Operations Support

• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Communicate issues, concerns, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
• Perform additional production-related duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required (Canadian education or WES equivalency verification required).
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics, or regulated manufacturing environments is considered an asset.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to work day or night shifts, including weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, repetitive environment.
