Job summary

Randstad Canada is sourcing for an Assembly Technician / Production Associate in Cambridge, ON. This temporary, part-time position offers multiple shifts (Days, Afternoons, Nights) with potential overtime and a 12-week duration.

Responsibilities include safely assembling mechanical parts with hand and power tools, reading schematics, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. 1+ year manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse settings.
• Strong punctuality, attendance, and team reliability.
• Able to stand for full shifts, lift repetitive loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong safety awareness and a collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Product Assembly: Safely operate hand and power tools to assemble mechanical parts and sub-assemblies.
• Technical Execution: Read and follow schematic drawings, SOPs, and production guides.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Safety & Upkeep: Maintain an organized work area and follow PPE and safety standards.
