Job summary

Lambert Médico Factures in Sherbrooke is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Clerk to join our hybrid team. You will prepare and process medical billing data, submit claims for family physicians, specialists and clinics, and analyze billing errors to improve the revenue cycle.

In this full-time role, you will have schedule flexibility, access to hybrid work after achieving autonomy, and participate in a supportive environment with RRSP benefits and comprehensive insurance.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken French.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and concentration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare billing data.
• Submit medical billing claims for clients, including family physicians, specialists and clinics.
• Use specialized medical billing software and web platforms daily.
• Complete accurate and timely follow-up across multiple client accounts.
• Validate and analyze billing errors and make required invoice or claim adjustments.
• Contribute actively to the management and continuous improvement of the full medical billing cycle for your clients.
• Provide excellent client service.
• Provide administrative support to the team as needed.

Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and service-minded Medical Billing Clerk to join our Sherbrooke team. In this role, you will prepare and process medical billing information, submit claims, follow up on client accounts, analyze billing errors, make adjustments, and help improve the complete billing cycle for physicians and medical clinics. This is a full-time role with schedule flexibility and access to hybrid work once you have reached full autonomy.

What you will be doing

• Receive and prepare billing data.
• Submit medical billing claims based on information provided by our clients, including family physicians, specialists and medical clinics.
• Use specialized medical billing software and web platforms on a daily basis.
• Complete accurate and timely follow-up across multiple client accounts.
• Validate and analyze billing errors and make required invoice or claim adjustments.
• Contribute actively to the management and continuous improvement of the full medical billing cycle for your clients.
• Provide excellent client service.
• Provide administrative support to the team as needed.

You have

• Excellent written and spoken French.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and concentration.
• Comfort learning and using a variety of computer tools and software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Training or experience in administration, secretarial work, office administration, accounting or data entry is an asset.
• Interest in medical billing and a willingness to learn; candidates who are new to the field are encouraged to apply.
