Job summary

This role offers hands-on exposure to validation and testing in a dynamic team. Ideal candidates are in 2nd/3rd year of mechanical, software or electrical engineering, with strong MS Office skills and a willingness to learn Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, software or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong MS Office proficiency.
• Experience in project management is a plus.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence is an asset.
• Experience in testing and validation.
• Knowledge of programming languages.
• Ability to document work clearly.
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, monitor and report on progress of validation projects to meet customer schedules.
• Track and ensure delivery of validation inputs.
• Support the Laboratory Planner to maximize laboratory efficiency.
• Assist the Laboratory Coordinator with equipment tracking tools maintenance.
• Maintain and update the Design Validation Plan & Reports (DVP&R).
• Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives for lab validation and testing processes.
• Update the laboratory's catalog of test standards.
