Job summary

Dana Canada, a global leader in engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies, seeks an engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for thermal products at our Oakville site. You will collaborate with suppliers, support tooling approvals, and leverage advanced quality systems to drive efficiency.

Candidate will work in a high-volume production setting with strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Requires post-secondary degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or diploma in Engineering technology.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably high-volume production.
• Familiar with TS16949, APQP, continuous improvement, and Toyota Production System.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and innovative manufacturing processes for thermal products to improve safety, quality and performance.
• Improve existing processes toward ideal state using rapid prototyping and designed experiments.
• Assemble quotations for tooling and equipment to support cost models and program launches.
