Job Description

Due to continued success, we are looking to recruit a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our leading international client based at an Oil Refinery on the South Coast. This is a hands-on position with primary responsibility for rotating equipment maintenance activities. Experience with Pumps, Gearboxes, Fans, Mixers, Motors, Valves, and Turbines is advantageous.

Role and Key Responsibilities
  1. Work safely in accordance with the industry-leading site safety program.
  2. Perform planned and unplanned maintenance activities on plant equipment, adhering to site requirements.
  3. Remove, install, and overhaul rotating equipment.
  4. Conduct asset breakdown maintenance and fault finding on equipment.
  5. Produce comprehensive reports, plans, and solutions for equipment issues.
Equipment Requirements
  • Time-served qualified Mechanical Fitter/Technician in a suitable discipline.
  • Experience working on process equipment including, but not limited to, Pumps, Gearboxes, Fans, Mixers, Motors, Valves, and Turbines.
  • Experience within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry or similar working environments.
  • Experience working in refineries or power industries.
  • Contractors Safety Passport (CCNSG) Card or country-specific safety passport card.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Positive, flexible attitude with strong interpersonal skills and high self-motivation.
  • All tools and equipment are supplied.
