Overview:Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Lloydminster.As a key contributor within our Maintenance Base, the
Mechanical Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliable and timely delivery of operational equipment. This role is essential to maintaining the performance, integrity, and cost-effectiveness of our product line assets. By executing maintenance activities with precision and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, the Mechanical Technician helps reduce nonproductive time and elevate team productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with established programs and the Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategy, ensuring full compliance via the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate, timely records in the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems, capturing data such as labor hours, materials used, equipment performance, work orders, and movement history.
- Uphold all TLM Product Line standards and ensure adherence to organizational maintenance protocols.
- Support initiatives aimed at optimizing asset utilization and reducing the cost of service delivery (CoSD).
- Drive improvements in asset turnaround time by minimizing maintenance downtime, streamlining repair processes, and reducing work-in-progress bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with fellow Maintenance Technicians to identify and implement efficiency-enhancing strategies.
- Support CoSD projects, including the planned repair and reuse of equipment components.
- Participate in technical investigations related to equipment failures to contribute to long-term reliability improvements.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by complying with the TLM Competency Management System and maintaining up-to-date technical skills.
