Job summary

Black & McDonald Limited in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Mechanical Project Coordinator to support the delivery of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical retrofit projects in ICI sectors. You will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, collaboration, and building strong relationships within the construction industry, with a hybrid work model and a strong rewards package

Qualifications

• University degree in mechanical engineering or college diploma in construction management or equivalent industry experience.
• 2–5 years of construction industry experience (preferably commercial/institutional).
• Experience as a field superintendent, project coordinator, or estimator would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in planning and delivery of mechanical construction projects.
• Assist with scheduling, milestones, and progress monitoring using standard software systems.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure safety, schedule and budget adherence.
