KOA in Vancouver is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technical Team Lead to guide our Mechanical Engineering Group and support growth of industrial services. You will provide technical leadership, manage a portfolio of mechanical projects, and mentor engineers while building client relationships across mining, bulk handling, energy, ports and heavy industry.

This leadership role oversees project delivery, scopes, schedules, budgets, resource planning, and QA processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering required.
• P.Eng. designation with EGBC.
• 10+ years mechanical engineering experience, industrial/mining focus.
• 5+ years leadership or engineering management experience.
• Experience with bulk material handling, mining, ports or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of applicable engineering codes and standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, lead, mentor mechanical staff and support career development.
• Oversee planning, execution and delivery of mechanical projects.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, staffing and financial performance.
• Provide technical leadership for studies, designs, calculations, and drawings.
• Review deliverables for code compliance and sign/seal when required.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and commissioning activities.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Contribute to proposals, scope, effort estimates and fees.
• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, civil, electrical teams across Canada/US.
