Job summary

CRB is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern in Canada to contribute to design and engineering of HVAC, mechanical utilities, plumbing, and building support systems within life sciences and food & beverage sectors. You will work under a mentor to develop project deliverables and gain exposure to energy modeling, load calculations, and coordination with manufacturers and trade partners.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical/Architectural Engineering.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industry.
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis abilities.
  • Willingness to collaborate with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project documents (calculations, reports, drawings) coordinating with regulatory bodies and industry standards.
  • Assist with conceptual designs and coordination under project team leadership.
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines and internal/external stakeholders (vendors, clients, contractors).
