Job summary

CRB is offering a Mechanical Engineer Intern (Summer 2027) position in Toronto, Canada. The role supports architecture, engineering, and construction teams on pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, and industrial projects.

You will work under a mentor to develop deliverables, assist with conceptual designs, and coordinate across disciplines with vendors and clients. Prior exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D collaboration tools is valued.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of Bachelor’s Degree: Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in HVAC systems strongly preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
• Experience with 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble), preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Developing project documents (e.g., calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications) for clients in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards.
• Assisting with development of conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team under direction of the project team lead.
• Coordinating with other disciplines and other internal and external team members (e.g., vendors, clients, and contractors).
