LB Foster is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop onboard train-mounted mechanical and electro‑mechanical hardware. You will conceptualize, design, verify, validate, manufacture and implement systems for rail applications.
You will also create detailed designs, perform FEA validation, generate manufacturing drawings, support QA, and coordinate field trials with stakeholders while traveling up to 25% as needed.

You will play a key role in LB Foster's Friction Management division, where you will be responsible for the design and development of custom mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware specifically related to onboard train-mounted solutions.
