Job summary

Bantrel Co. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Construction team in Leroy, SK, on a full-time camp rotation. You will ensure mechanical design intent is met on site, coordinate with home office engineers, and address NCRs/NCRs, TQs, and P&IDs to support the Jansen Potash Mine project.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years of mining experience, P.Eng. or eligible registration, and strong knowledge of ISO standards and 3D design systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• P.Eng. designation with APEGS or eligibility for registration.
• 8–12 years mining/mineral processing experience; underground mining asset.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and auditing processes.
• Experience with 3D data centric design systems; cross-disciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary mechanical engineering liaison between site and home office.
• Coordinate with home office engineers to align design priorities.
• Provide clarification on technical requirements and drawing modifications.
• Review and approve mechanical acceptance certificates.
• Assist commissioning and site handover activities.
