Job summary

Bantrel Co. in Leroy, SK seeks a Materials Management Coordinator to manage MM functions, maintain records, and support planning and tracking of material requirements for EPC/EPCM projects. This role covers on-site coordination at project sites and off-site fabrication facilities.

Qualifications

• MM experience in EPC projects
• Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management (asset)
• Experience on large, complex projects
• Process improvement experience
• Expediting and procurement knowledge
• Knowledge of engineering, construction, and quality procedures
• Team player with strong ethics and EI
• Excellent communication with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Direct data entry and transfer of drawings, bulk material and tagged equipment to Smart Materials (SMat)
• RFID technology utilization and support to MM team members
• Ensure requisitions conform to project standards and support SMat material management work processes
• Maintain tagged equipment lists in SMat and link to work packages; verify tag naming structure
• Develop and maintain material planning dashboards to support allocation and distribution
• Coordinate bulk material allocation to off-site facilities and job-site
• Maintain data in SMat for material planning, lead times, purchasing, receiving and issuing
• Perform material quantification analysis to identify surpluses or shortages
• Assist MM Lead with status and metrics reporting
