IREN in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of HPC data centers powered by 100% renewable energy. You will lead cooling system efforts, collaborate with architects and engineers, and improve energy efficiency across projects.
Applicants should have a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in data centers, CFD tooling experience, and knowledge of ASHRAE/IPC/IEC standards.

Reporting to the VP, Engineering, the Mechanical Engineer will support mechanical engineering efforts for current and future site development, including the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of High Performance Computing (HPC) data centers. With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution with at least 5 years of experience in Data Centers and/or mission critical facilities design, construction or operations
