Job summary

AfterQuery is seeking a remote, project-based mechanical engineer to contribute CAD designs, engineering analysis, and technical documentation. The role emphasizes hands-on work on components and assemblies, with an expected commitment of 10-20 hours per week and exposure to real-world engineering challenges.

You will create, review, and iterate CAD models, produce manufacturing-ready drawings, and document design decisions with clear methodologies for reproducibility.

Qualifications

This is a remote, project-based role for mechanical engineers with hands-on experience in CAD and mechanical design. Work is asynchronous and assigned on a project-by-project basis, with an expected commitment of 10-20 hours per week for the projects you accept.
