Responsibilities:

• Crafting designs for building mechanical systems encompassing HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage, and Building Automation
• Conducting field surveys to assess existing building systems
• Generating engineering load calculations, equipment sizing, and selection
• Producing engineered drawings, details, and schematics utilizing AutoCAD
• Drafting technical specifications
• Ensuring designs adhere to pertinent codes and regulations
• Compiling technical reports
• Overseeing contract administration tasks such as issuing site instructions, reviewing submittals, conducting field inspections, and generating field reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Possession of a P.Eng. designation is advantageous, or eligibility for P.Eng. application
• 2-5 years of experience in designing building mechanical systems (plumbing & drainage, HVAC, fire protection)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficient in English written and verbal communication
• Competency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with HVAC load calculations (HAP preferred, energy modeling is a bonus)
• Understanding and application of relevant codes and regulations
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
