Could you be the full-time Mechanical Calculation Engineer in St-Bruno, Quebec, Canada we’re looking for?
Take on a new challenge and apply your structural design and mechanical analysis expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.
You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the performance, safety, and compliance of critical components for passenger rail vehicles through advanced simulation and engineering analyses. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (structural integrity, supply chain, design, and project teams), contribute to risk assessments, and support qualification testing, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of creating and validating finite element models of railway vehicle components, but also contribute to design reviews and provide engineering recommendations to optimize performance and manufacturability.
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Proficiency in French and English is required. Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset when working with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
As a global business, we’re an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in. We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.
