Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Canada is seeking a skilled Mechanic to maintain a diverse fleet of aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and other equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and complete repairs safely to minimize downtime, working with a team in a safety-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, and the ability to use a variety of mechanic tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse equipment fleet.
• Work safely to minimize downtime; follow procedures for hydraulic/electrical systems.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities; collaborate with team.
