Komatsu in Lively, Ontario is seeking a Mechanic Apprentice to assemble and fit heavy mining equipment using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. You will read blueprints and work instructions, verify quality, and ensure safety and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

As a Mechanic Apprentice, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting components for heavy mining equipment using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Working from blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions, you will perform assembly tasks, verify product quality, and help ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role plays an important part in delivering high‑quality products while maintaining a safe, clean, and productive manufacturing environment.
At Komatsu, base pay is just one part of a comprehensive total compensation package designed to support and reward our employees. For this role, compensation starts at $26.00 CAD per hour. The final offer will be determined based on several factors, including the candidates' skills, experience, qualifications, and the position location.
