As a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) within the Fluid division at United Rentals, you'll perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment safely and professionally. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of dryers and pumps. This role offers daily opportunities for growth and challenge, with potential to advance to higher Tech roles within our Service Department. You will also provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform service documentation
• Train lower-level Technicians
• Demonstrate equipment for customers
• Travel to customer sites
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining dryers and pumps of various sizes and manufacturers
• Knowledge of construction equipment
• Strong mechanical skills, especially with engines
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Own tools applicable to the position
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs frequently
