Core Job Functions:

• Licensed Truck and/or Trailer Mechanic
• Work according to safety procedures, standards, and regulations
• Assist and work under the supervision of a Journeyman mechanic
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings
• Maintain professional interactions with staff
• Perform maintenance and keep work areas clean
• Engage in training and development opportunities
• Review work required from preventative maintenance inspections
• Complete electronic work orders
• Perform repairs from inspections
• Diagnose issues and communicate parts needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed truck and/or trailer mechanic
• Flexible and willing to learn under a journeyman mechanic
• Experience as a B620 inspector is an asset
• Mechanical knowledge and computer skills
• High professionalism
• Knowledge of engine diagnostics is a plus
