Job summary

Infasco, located in Marieville, Canada, is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to maintain production equipment on a 12-hour day shift (3-2-2-3 rotation) with Sundays premium. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will diagnose, repair, and install mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems while contributing to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Required DEP in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent DEC with 5+ years of experience, French fluency, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• DEP in Industrial Mechanics with 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent DEC.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French.
• Knowledge and skills in mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work in a team, autonomy, and responsibility.
• Quick learner and ability to adapt to production pace.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic welding and cutting, as well as machining for repairs.

Your main responsibilities:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Mechanic ensures preventive and corrective maintenance of Infasco's production equipment.

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and install mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment on production machines;


• Perform basic welding and cutting, as well as machining for repairs;


• Repair hydraulic and pneumatic piping.
