Country Grocer is hiring a Meat Wrapper for our Cobble Hill location. This full-time role focuses on wrapping and preparing meat, stocking shelves, and maintaining clean, safe displays in a fast-paced store environment.

You will provide outstanding customer service, work early mornings, weekends, and holidays, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. Training and safety procedures are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is an asset.
• Current Food Safe certification is an asset; country grocer will help you achieve it.

Job Overview

We have an opening for a Meat Wrapper (Full-time) at our Cobble Hill location! We are looking for an energetic, customer focused individual that enjoys interacting with people and likes a fast paced work environment.

Schedule Requirements

• Must have open availability
• Able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays

What We Need From You

• A high level of motivation and a proactive attitude
• The capacity to work in a cold and wet environment performing repetitive motions with a variety of equipment
• The ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• A heightened attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work effectively under pressure
• An ability to prioritize tasks, follow directions, and manage time
• A willingness to work both autonomously and with a team
• A desire to provide outstanding customer service
• A desire to comply with established department procedures and safe work practices
• A willingness to learn and openness to coaching and feedback

Pay

CA$18.25-CA$22.00 per hour
