Job summary

Country Grocer Ladysmith is seeking a Meat Wrapper for a full-time position. You will wrap and prepare meat, stock shelves, rotate and face products, and maintain high safety standards while helping customers in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires motivation, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work mornings, afternoons, weekends and holidays. Lifting up to 50 lbs is part of the job; Food Safe certification is a plus and will be supported.

Qualifications

• Customer Service experience is an asset.
• Current Food Safe certification is an asset, however Country Grocer will help you achieve it.
• Able to work in a cold and wet environment and perform repetitive motions with equipment.
• Willingness to learn and openness to coaching and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Wrapping and preparing meat.
• Stocking shelves, rotate and face products, build displays.
• Ensure high safety standards are set and maintained.
• Perform other duties as required.

We have an opening for a Meat Wrapper(Full-Time)at ourLadysmithlocation! We are looking for an energetic, customer focused individual that enjoys interacting with people and likes a fast paced work environment.

Schedule Requirements:

• Must have open availability
• Able to work early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays

What we need from you:

• A high level of motivation and a proactive attitude
• The capacity to work in a cold and wet environment performing repetitive motions with a variety of equipment
• The ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• A heightened attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work effectively under pressure
• An ability to prioritize tasks, follow directions, and manage time
• A willingness to work both autonomously and with a team
• A desire to provide outstanding customer service
• A desire to comply with established department procedures and safe work practices
• A willingness to learn and openness to coaching and feedback

Pay:CA$18.25-CA$22.00 per hour

Experience and Education:
