Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance in Canada is seeking a Meat Wrapper to join our team. You will pack, weigh, label merchandise and ensure price accuracy according to our standards, stamp products with weight and price per kilo, and display items attractively on counters.

You’ll also actively promote related products to customers to support sales. The role is day-shift, part-time (25–35 hours per week) with a collaborative team environment and opportunities for skill development and advancement

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn about the role.

Responsibilities

• Pack, weigh, label merchandise and make price changes according to established standards.
• Stamp the product (weight, identification, price per kilo, etc.).
• Place merchandise attractively in counters and displays.
• Promote sales by suggesting complementary and/or alternative products to consumers.
