Job summary

Farm Boy is seeking team members to join our Meat Cutter program, combining expert meat preparation with exceptional customer service. You’ll help ensure our service counter reflects Farm Boy’s commitment to a fresh, welcoming shopping experience and high product standards.

The role involves training, assisting with inventory, and supporting operations in a fast-paced store environment, including evenings and weekends. English required; French an asset.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience in a similar role.
• Ability to work independently with high quality and cleanliness standards.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, engaging customer service reflecting Farm Boy's commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.
• Prepare and cut meats for the service case with attractive displays.
• Package, stock, and rotate display counters and shelves.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas including housekeeping.
• Follow Health & Safety and HACCP procedures.
• Train and mentor Team Members in the Meat Cutter program.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and inventory counts.
• Support leadership with supply ordering and other operational duties.
