Job summary

Eataly Group in Toronto is seeking a dedicated butcher to support meat preparation and guest service. You will cut, weigh, package, and label meat to Eataly’s standards, and help guests select products with cooking tips.

This role requires 1+ year meat experience, ability to follow instructions, and strong communication. On-site with flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; must hold a valid Food Handlers Certification.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience with meat in a high-volume retail environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent communication with coworkers and guests.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, cuts, weighs, packages and labels meat in accordance with Eataly’s high-quality standards
• Provides outstanding customer service: assists guests in selecting products and shares knowledge of preparation and cooking techniques
• Stocks counter neatly, accurately and in a timely manner as per pricing menu
• Maintains a clean, organized and sanitary station according to Department of Health standards
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
