Job summary

Meaty Meats Inc. in Mississauga is seeking an experienced meat cutter to join our team for full-time day shifts. You will cut meat and poultry into specified cuts for institutional and wholesale use and ensure high quality standards in a fast-paced retail butcher operation.

Candidates should have a Registered Apprenticeship or equivalent in meat cutting, 2–3 years of experience, and strong attention to detail. We offer steady hours, overtime, and a hands-on work environment at two GTA locations.

Job description

Meaty Meats is a specialty retailer focusing on Fresh Organic Meats and Charcuterie, as well as in-house Prepared Foods. We operate two locations in the GTA, with a focus on customer experience.

As the owner of the company's retail meat operations, reporting to the Retail Operations Manager or similar our e-commerce web store. This is a permanent full-time employment with day shift and overtime available.

Responsibilities

• Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or other wholesale use
• Remove bones from meat
• Record information on products inspected
• Clean and maintain the workspace
• Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat

Education

• Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
