Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking a Material Supply Assistant to perform general shipping/receiving and warehousing duties at our Albian facility. The role supports the shop and mine sites with timely parts delivery and accurate stocking.

You’ll work a 14x14 shift, with days and nights, and may access housing or a camp if local housing is unavailable. Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma, strong safety mindset, and basic warehouse tech familiarity; TDG/WHMIS and forklift training are assets,

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Grade 12)
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to successfully work under minimal supervision
• TDG and WHMIS certification, coupled with forklift training will be considered assets
• Previous warehousing and core inspection experience, hose building, as well as computer literacy are also desired
• Forklift training, and experience working with radio frequency and bar-coding technology would be assets
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with a successful drivers abstract required for field positions
• A strong commitment to safety is imperative

Important Information

This position is based in Albian on a 14x14 Shift. Days and Nights Required. Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
