Job summary
Pride Bodies Ltd., a Wabtec Company in Cambridge, Ontario, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate to support production by picking, packing and shipping customer orders, counting and verifying incoming vendor material, and putting away parts.
You will work with the sourcing and inventory team, report to the Sourcing and Inventory Manager, and may drive trucks or forklift as needed. Must have 2+ years in Shipping/Receiving with ERP experience and cycle counting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years’ experience in Shipping and Receiving using an ERP system (Global Shop Solutions experience an asset).
- Minimum of two years’ experience in inventory control, including cycle counting.
- Willing to be trained/certified to operate a forklift.
- Must show proof of clean driver’s abstract (D licence an asset).
- Strong written and oral communication and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and ship customer orders and verify incoming vendor material.
- Count, receive and put away inventory and non-inventory components.
- Pick and stage parts to meet production schedules.
- Perform daily forklift and yard inspections as required.
- Drive supplier parts pickups and move vehicles as needed.
- Support other duties related to shipping, receiving and inventory.
