Job summary

Primoris Canada is seeking a Materials Coordinator to manage site materials, coordinate shipments, and serve as the main point of contact for materials questions at the CNRL Horizon maintenance site.

The role entails supervising offloading, performing receiving inspections, ensuring QA compliance, organizing documentation, storing materials properly, and preparing shipments, with flights from Edmonton/Calgary and onsite camp accommodation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years shipping/receiving/stores experience.
• Minimum 8 years heavy industrial manufacturing or petrochemical experience.
• Knowledge of QA programs and material handling processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the offloading of materials from carrier.
• Inspect materials for damage, overages, shortages, and PO compliance.
• Document receiving inspection per QA/HSE procedures.
• Identify and tag non-conforming material and quarantine as needed.
• Organize, verify, and file receiving and vendor documentation.
• Ensure materials are stored and maintained properly.
• Document withdrawal of materials for on-site use.
• Prepare and load finished goods/materials for shipment.
• Update materials database prior to shipment of goods/materials.
