Eaton’s Milton, Ontario site is seeking a Material Planner to optimize material planning and supply chain processes at our manufacturing campus in Milton. This onsite role focuses on ensuring material availability and efficient production scheduling.
You will review material status, release POs from the MRP workbench, drive inventory reduction, and support lean initiatives to meet delivery targets while collaborating with production and suppliers.

The expected annual salary range for this role is 69,000$ - 87,000$ a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of purchasing techniques and supplier management, be able to effectively multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team. They should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with a strong analytical aptitude and complex problem-solving skills. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and Access, and strong proficiency using MRP software, with Oracle knowledge as an asset, is essential. The successful candidate will also have a strong technical aptitude of electrical distribution and control systems and demonstrate effective time management, prioritization, and project management skills. It is also crucial for the successful candidate to be aligned with Eaton’s values, including to have a safety-first mindset and someone who values inclusion and diversity.
