Job summary

Litens Automotive Group in Canada is seeking a Material Mover to handle shipping, receiving and warehousing duties. You will unload/load materials, inspect items, and ensure accurate documentation.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, experience in fast-paced warehousing, competence with RF scanners, FIFO knowledge, and a valid lift truck license. Physical work and shift flexibility expected.

Competitive hourly pay from $20.00 to $26.00, plus accommodations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehousing/shipping/receiving environment, preferably in an automotive manufacturing facility.
• Competent with RF scanner equipment and transactions.
• Knowledge of FIFO inventory management process.
• Must maintain valid Lift Truck license (reach truck).
• Able to fulfill physical requirements.
• May be required to work different shifts.
• Must have good communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Unload / load materials from containers or trucks.
• Perform materials/finished goods condition inspections.
• Complete documentation as required.
• Store, locate and move goods in warehouse.
• Move and store materials/finished goods according to FIFO.
• Carry out inventory management and counting of stock.
• Operate lift truck according to Lift Truck Operation procedure.
