Job summary

Siemens Mobility in North Carolina is seeking a Material Handler Level 2 to support efficient movement of materials, receiving, shipping, storage, picking and inventory control. This role operates stand‑up reach trucks and forklifts, uses RF scanners and SAP to track materials, and supports packing and crating activities in a safety‑conscious environment.

Shift is 6:00am to 2:30pm with an hourly rate of $20.36.

Qualifications

4+ years’ experience in material management (warehousing).
4+ years’ experience driving forklift, order picker and stand up.
2+ years packing and crating.
1+ years cranes.
Must lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience with SAP system.
Basic proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Operate stand-up reach trucks and forklifts in high-traffic aisles.
Unload, receive, count, and verify incoming materials in SAP.
Pick materials for internal and external customers using RF scanners.
Perform daily cycle counts and pack/shipping of materials.
Follow safety rules and improve processes.

The Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.

We are looking for a Material Handler Level 2 to join our team. This position will be based at Knightdale, NC.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials, including receiving, shipping, storage, picking, delivery, and inventory management.

Shift Hours

6:00am - 2:30pm

Hourly Rate

$20.36

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

4+ years’ experience in material management (warehousing).
4+ years’ experience driving a forklift, order picker and stand up.
2+ years of experience with packing and crating.
1+ years of experience with cranes.
Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs.
Experience with SAP system
Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Experience with RF Scanners
Ability to train others on department processes
Proficient with MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

You’llmake an impact by:

Safely operating stand-up reach trucks, stand-up order pickers, and sit-down forklifts in high-traffic areas and narrow aisles; inspecting equipment daily.
Unloading, receiving, counting, and verifying incoming production materials, recording data in SAP.
Picking materials for internal and external customers using RF scanners with count accuracy.
Performing daily cycle counts and efficiently packing and shipping materials damage-free.
Adhering to safety rules, following established processes, and seeking improvement opportunities.
Strong attention to detail while meeting deadlines
Working as a great teammate and completing other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
