Job summary

TAG Hardware is seeking a warehouse associate to safely load and unload materials, manage inventory and maintain a clean, efficient work area. You will operate forklifts, assist with production flow, and ensure accurate stock levels while adhering to safety protocols.

We offer a starting wage of CAD 23.75 per hour, with annual increases based on performance, overtime opportunities, paid training, extended health, dental and life insurance, paid time off, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and safe operation in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to read, understand and follow English instructions.
• Basic math skills for daily inventory/receiving tasks.
• Able to work independently while contributing to a positive team.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload materials from the warehouse using hand and power handling equipment.
• Maintain material flow for powder coating and production.
• Record inventory transactions accurately to update stock levels.
• Restock items according to established procedures and schedules.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and safe at all times.
• Perform daily safety checks and follow all safe work practices.
• Operate a variety of production equipment as required.
• Support warehouse operations during busy periods.

Shift:

Monday to Friday, 6am – 2:30pm

What you will be doing:

• Safely and efficiently, load and put away material from the warehouse using hand and power operated handling equipment.
• Maintain the flow of materials being used in powder coating and production.
• Load and unload materials in accordance with scheduling needs.
• Ensure updated inventory levels by accurately recording inventory transactions
• Ensure items are restocked according to established procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
• Perform daily safety checklists and adhere comply with all safe work practices
• Operation of a variety of production equipment.
• At times, support warehouse operations loading, unloading materials and preparing items for shipment.
• Other duties as required

What You'll Bring to the Role

• A valid forklift certification
• Previous experience operating forklift, (sit down/stand up) in a warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 40 lbs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Basic math skills
