Job summary

Active Dynamics is seeking a Material Handler - Forklift to support Production and Warehouse operations on the Afternoon Shift (3:30pm-12:00am). The role requires a lift truck license, English communication, and a grade 12 education.

You will pick, stage, and transport materials, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery across departments. Applicants should be conscientious, punctual, and able to follow OHSA&R and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per OHSA&R and Company Policies.
• Check accuracy of part identification where required.
• Pick and stage material for Production; store materials in designated areas.
• Pick and deliver packaging, bins, dunnage, and related items to departments.
• Advise of shortages to satisfy Production needs.
• Support cycle count activities.
• Notify Supervisor of damages/defects or safety issues.
• Keep area clean and follow 5S practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

TITLE: MATERIAL HANDLER - FORKLIFT REF. NO.: MHF20260915

DEPARTMENT: KITTING EFFECTIVE DATE: 2026.09.15

STATUS: Hourly - Bargaining Unit CLOSING DATE: 2026.09.21

SUMMARY: This position reports to the Supervisor of the department. The successful applicant will be supporting all Production and Warehouse areas as a Material Handler.

ROLE:

• Perform all duties according to the OHSA&R and Company Policies.
• Conducts required checks to ensure accuracy of part identification where required.
• Pick and stage material for Production and stores material in the designated warehouse areas.
• Pick and deliver packaging, bins, dunnage, racks, and related products to other departments as required by the relevant department managers.
• Advise of shortage in materials/goods to satisfy Production needs.
• Takes part and supports cycle count activities.
• Notifies Supervisor of damages/defects or other serious occurrences related to materials, equipment and facility.
• Performs housekeeping, clean-up and other 5 S related activities as required.
• Any other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with Active Dynamics Component Parts.
• Minimum grade 12 or equivalent education.
• Written & oral aptitude in English.

• Conscientious and punctual.
• Require Lift truck license.

RATE: $24.58

• $24.83 - Subject to assessment of skills and qualifications by Active following a 60 working days probationary period
