Job summary

Mondelez International Inc. in Ontario, Canada seeks an autonomous operator to manage replenishment, put-away, order picking, and loading/unloading. You will use AM/PM maintenance concepts to improve line efficiency, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will work with Windows-based tools, report losses, and support a safe, collaborative work environment across diverse teams. The role includes a 4-day/10-hour schedule with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Secondary education with fluency in English and good math skills.
• Able to read/write and communicate clearly; basic math understanding.
• Authorized operator of a high-reach, counter-balance lift truck.
• Familiar with Windows software and locating information on goods receipt.

You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

How you will contribute

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

More about this role

Primarily responsible for replenishment, put away, order picking, loading, unloading, computer usage, computer tools, operation of all material handling equipment, and perform all other duties as assigned, regardless of material type, or job classification. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Education / Certifications:

Secondary education (fluent in speaking, reading and writing English and strength in mathematics) are essential,

Job specific requirements:

Requires know-how sufficient to perform semi-standardized operations and may operate equipment requiring set up and adjustments. Typically, requires reading and writing ability sufficient to communicate easily, can use and understand decimals and fractions, and can comprehend simple charts and drawings.

Authorized operator of a high-reach, counter-balance lift truck is essential

Familiarity with Windows computer software environment,

Ability to understand where to locate pertinent information on goods receipt

Performs tasks requiring physical exertion such as standing, sitting, bending, walking or climbing stairs, using light tools and machines and/or medium weight materials or regular visual concentration, or frequent travel.

Tact required to maintain good relations with persons inside and/or outside of the area in giving and receiving information.

7am - 5:30pm

Salary and Benefits:

The expected annualized salary range for this position is $49,105.00 to $68,757.00 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 5% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results, and potential shift premiums and / or overtime.
