Job summary

Mondelez International Inc. is seeking an on-site Warehouse Operations Associate in Ontario, Canada. The role involves daily warehouse activities such as unloading, picking, palletizing, loading, and stock counting, with a focus on safety and quality compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in supply chain or warehouse roles, SAP/EWM familiarity, and strong computer skills. Regular hours with potential overtime are expected in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in the daily activities of our warehouses in a safe way, includingactivities such as truck unloading, putting away, storing, picking, truck loading, stock counting.

How you will contribute

You will:

• Work in the warehousing, order picking, palletizing, loading and unloading deliverytrucks
• Adhere to all safety and quality checks and specified rules
• Assemble and load product on delivery trucks accurately and in a timely manner
• Load product pallets following standard operating procedures in accordance with the daily delivery schedule

• Ability to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced work environment and capable of the defined physicalactivities (lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.).
• Forklift experience preferred

What you need to know about this position:

Cycle Count the warehouse wall-to-wall on a monthly basis

• Generate physical inventory documents through EWM and perform physical counts;
• Enter the count results into EWM;
• Generate and perform any cycle count as a result of picking shortage, returns or as requested;
• Investigate all findings with respect to inventory discrepancies;
• Perform empty bin reports
• Correct any issues with respect to findings on empty bin reports

Chep Pallets

• Daily count of Chep pallet stock;
• Placing order for Chep pallets as requested;
• Inbound Chep loads results entered into Chep KPI scorecard;
• Place the Edmonton chep loads using the chep system portals and and record on tracker

Inventory Control

• Manage the flow of goods from Inbound, staging and put away.
• Resolve any inventory issue arising during the above process.
• Carry out the positive hold and release quality program effectively and efficiently.
• Open and follow up on any IT (Quality & Inventory) ticket opened.
• Aid in supporting & managing the overall warehouse operations.
• Assist in cross functioning whenever needed. (Back up coverage)
• Generate inventory reports daily and whenever necessary.
• To aid any other business need arising for quality and inventory purposes.

Experience/ Skills

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
• Knowledge of inventory, customer service, transportation, warehousing
• Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Preferable experience in SAP/EWM.

Relationships

Internal:

• Work closely with the Inventory Team and Warehouse Supervisors

External:

• Chep Team
• Repackers (with respect to Chep)

Physical Effort

• Normally requires a moderate level of physical effort in bending;
• High level of data entry

Working Conditions

Generally, works in a warehouse environment and is required to wear safety shoes/vest/glasses. Colleague will also work an office environment generating counts, required paperwork for auditing and within the Chep system.

Education / Certifications: Bachelors degree and atleast 2 years in supply chain and warehouse experience, SAP knowledge is preferred. MS Office knowledge as well

Work schedule: Mon to Fri with Sat as required. Time would be 8 to 4.30 PM with occasional over time required as per business need.

Salary and Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this position is $50200 to $62750 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
