Mitchell Plastics is seeking a dedicated Material Handler for the afternoon shift at our Kitchener facility. You will keep the production floor supplied with materials and components, operate a forklift, and collaborate with machine operators and supervisors to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This on-site role offers stable full-time employment with a 3pm–11pm schedule, Monday to Friday, and a $0.50 per hour shift premium.

Job Details:

Wage: $24.80 - $27.34 per hour plus $0.50 shift premium per hour

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler for the Day Shift at our Mitchell Plastics Kitchener facility. In this pivotal role, you will keep our production floor running smoothly, ensuring we hit critical customer deadlines in a fast-paced, "just-in-time" manufacturing environment. Success in this position relies heavily on strong collaboration with Machine Operators, Cell Leaders, Supervisors, and Set-Up Technicians. While this is an Afternoon Shift position, candidates must be flexible to work alternative shifts and overtime as business needs dictate.

The successful candidate will be required to perform the following responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Keeping all production equipment supplied with materials
• Keeping Machine Operators supplied with components and packaging
• Maintaining cleanliness of the plant floor
• Emptying and cleaning grinders
• Transporting finished product to the appropriate staging area
