Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. in Gananoque, Ontario, is seeking a positive Material Handler to join our manufacturing plant on a 2-2-3 rotation. You will move raw materials and finished goods, record movements in the ERP system, and maintain inventory locations using forklifts and other equipment.

Shifts run 7am–7pm days and 7pm–7am nights on a rotating schedule. 1–2 years related experience and a high school diploma are preferred; forklift experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Forklift experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Performs visual inspections of incoming/outgoing materials for damages
• Uses PIT to move material on a timely basis per production requirements
• Records movement of materials in ERP system
• Maintains housekeeping and inventories in designated locations
• Follows standard operating procedures and quality guidelines
• Works under supervision and escalates complex issues to supervisor
