Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. is hiring a Material Handler-1 to support the production team in a manufacturing setting. You will handle materials, inspect components, and maintain a clean, organized work area while following safety and quality procedures.

This hands-on role involves thread preparation, gauging, measuring, and station upkeep on 12-hour rotating shifts. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and dependable work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and benefits

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow work instructions to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Ability to perform repetitive work.
• Ability to work shift work (12-hour days and nights).

Responsibilities

• Support production by handling materials and helping keep the line running smoothly.
• Apply thread compound to coupling threads and pipe threads.
• Apply plastic thread protectors.
• Use gauge to inspect couplings.
• Measure distances with a ruler.
• Keep work station full of supplies; sweep and pressure wash as needed.
• Grease equipment and assist maintenance as needed.
• Follow policies and procedures for safety and quality.
