Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join its dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for moving materials throughout the distribution center, ensuring efficient processing of customer orders. You will handle various tasks such as receiving, re-stocking, picking, packing, and shipping materials. Ideal candidates will be comfortable with heavy lifting and operating various types of forklifts, including Raymond Reach trucks. Job description

Eaton’s ES AMER MFGSC division is currently seeking a Material Handler.

What you’ll do:

Basic Summary of Position:

The Material Handler is responsible for moving material throughout the distribution center via receiving, re-stocking, picking, packing and shipping to enable the site to process customer orders.

Requirements of Position:

1. Comfortable handling 10-20 ft. bundles of steel and aluminum.
2. Able to Operate Reach Truck, Sit-down Counterbalance Forklift, Stand-up Counterbalance Forklift, Swing Reach Lift Truck & Walkie Rider Lift Truck.
3. Package material using steel and nylon banding tools.
4. Safely receive and break down incoming loads using reach trucks.
5. Use of SAP and RF guns for picking orders and put-away.
6. Perform cycle counts/inventory counts.
7. Perform customer pick-ups as required.
8. Additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications :

1. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. unaided and operate a hand cart.
2. Licensed to operate Raymond Reach trucks.

Preferred Qualifications :

1. Familiarity with SAP and RF guns.
