Role Summary

Reporting to the Parts Distribution Centre Supervisor, the Material Handler performs tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload shipments, record shortages, overages, damages
• Ship outbound orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks and trailers
• Operate forklift equipment (certification required)
• Pick and pack orders, prepare shipping labels
• Monitor shipment loading with carrier staff
• Process dealer parts orders
• Maintain organized staging areas
• Identify and resolve inventory variances
• Conduct inventory cycles/counts and replenishment
• Realign inventory within the distribution center as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• At least 3 years of shipping/receiving experience
• At least 2 years of forklift operation experience
• Possession of 2 of the following forklift certifications: Order Picker, Reach Truck, Counter Balance
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely
• Reliable transportation to workplace
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented and customer service focused
• Good organization and time management skills
